With its prime location between Brighton and Worthing and choice of versatile spaces, Ropetackle is the perfect venue for your meeting, event, community activity, workshop, class, filming project, or presentation.
We have two main spaces available, a large auditorium and a smaller mezzanine room, plus a bright and airy foyer with bar and café.
We offer technical and operational support for all hires, and can provide catering and hospitality packages. Events and regular classes benefit from marketing support, including publicity on our website and in our brochure.
We offer very competitive hire rates from £18 + VAT per hour. Get in touch for a quote or to arrange a viewing.
Auditorium
Our auditorium is a large, versatile space equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and staging. With a capacity of 200 seated, or 350 standing, the auditorium can be hired for a half day, full day, or multiple days subject to availability.
We supply qualified technicians, front of house staffing for events, and can provide in-house catering where required.

- Thursday – Saturday: £75+VAT per hour
- Sunday: £80+VAT per hour
- Technical support: £18+VAT per hour

Mezzanine Room
Our discreet first-floor mezzanine room is multifunctional space with a capacity of 40 standing, 30 seated, and 15-20 around tables. We can provide a flexible setup, from an empty space to boardroom style chairs and tables. The room is completely soundproof, and small scale audio-visual equipment is available.

Foyer
Our large, bright and airy foyer is perfect for small, informal events. By day, it is a bustling café, yet it easily transforms to an event setting or entertainment space by night or at the weekend.
